Tall, slim & hairy, that best describes this guy. With being a mature plant, burgundy red flowers should grow in late summer. The cylindrical blooms make a colourful display, emerging from sides of the stems like shooting stars.
The cactus likes to be in full sun for most of the year, but provide some shade in summer. During Spring & Summer, water when the top 2cm of compost is dry, Autumn once a month. In winter keep. the compost dry. Feed fortnightly from Spring & Summer. Nursery pot 18cm. Approx height 78cm. The clay pot comes with the cactus.
